Contes et Histoires 2023: activities based on La Fontaine's fables at the Domaine de Saint-Cloud

For the 2023 edition of the Contes et Histoires des Monuments Nationaux event, the Domaine de Saint-Cloud unveils a great program for families during the Christmas vacations. From December 27 to 29, 2023 , and January 3 to 5, 2024, the Domaine de Saint-Cloud will be hosting a number of entertaining events to celebrate Christmas in a different way, and to rediscover the history of the estate.

The Domaine de Saint-Cloud, located in the Hauts-de-Seine department, is an idyllic 460-hectare park, decorated with fountains, basins, sculptures and waterfalls. It once housed a mansion, a holiday residence for the royal and imperial families of France. The palace was destroyed in a terrible fire in 1870. Although the building has now disappeared, the landscaped gardens can still be admired.

It's in these verdant alleys that you can take part in the activities organized for the Contes et Histoires event. Each year, the estate offers a variety of unusual tours and shows, all linked to the history of the site.

During the 2023 Christmas vacations, you'll be able to enjoy activities based on the famous fables of Jean de La Fontaine! Please note: reservations are essential!
