Contes et Histoires is the not-to-be-missed family event for the festive season. Created by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, this major cultural event enables families, and especially children, to discover the wealth of France's heritage during the Christmas vacations. For this 2023 edition, the Château de Vincennes, at the gateway to Paris, awaits us for a stroll we won't soon forget!
From January 3 to 7, 2024, this medieval historic monument will take us on an unusual adventure, discovering the stories and secrets of this castle. This fortress, built between the 14th and 17th centuries, is the largest royal fortified castle still standing in France. It has stood the test of time, surviving changes of regime, wars, natural disasters... Today, this fortress bears witness toFrance's history and is a place of national remembrance.
During this new edition of Contes et Histoires, the Château de Vincennes invites us to take part in an unusual activity, to visit and discover the monument in a different way:
Dame Sibylle and Le Goupil invite you to celebrate Christmas with them, with a few stories that will take you straight back to the Middle Ages.
