Launched in 2001, line K of the Transilien SNCF network is a 61 km train line serving 10 stops and linking 13 communes. From Gare du Nord, in the 10ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, it crosses Seine-Saint-Denis with a stop at Aulnay-sous-Bois, continues into Seine-et-Marne and reaches its terminus at Crépy-en-Valois, in Oise, beyond theÎle-de-France region. In the event of a strike or industrial action, traffic on the K line may be disrupted or interrupted, which is why it's important to follow the traffic news in real time.

From Gare du Nord, Transilien line K connects with lines 2, 4 and 5 of the Paris metro, as well as RER lines B, D and E, transilienne line H and tramway line T4. Serving mainly towns to the north of the capital, the K line brings passengers close to theEspace Gainville exhibition center in Aulnay-sous-bois, the Parc Départemental du Sausset, the second largest green space in Seine-Saint-Denis, as well as some of Seine-et-Marne 's historic treasures, including the Château de Nantouillet and the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame de Dammartin.

  • Ligne K: Aulnay out of service on June 18–21 and 27–28, 9:15 PM–6:00 AM:
    Period: from 9:15 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    Dates: June 18–21, plus June 27 and 28.
    The Aulnay-sous-Bois station will not be served from 9:15 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning. Travelers wishing to reach Aulnay-sous-Bois should use RER Line B at Mitry-Claye station.
    Reason: railway works.
