Following a prefectural ban on fireworks within 200 meters of woods and forests in Seine-et-Marne, the town of Villeparisis in Seine-et-Marne (77) will skip its traditional Bastille Day display, but has lined up numerous activities for a Fête Nationale that aims to be a success.
Notably, a grand pique-nique républicain, dansant and full of activities. Head to the Stade des Petits Marais from 6 pm to midnight to celebrate differently, on the 13 juillet 2026. In a dedicated dining area, you’ll be able to enjoy tables, chairs and sun loungers so everyone can share a meal in a pique-nique format by bringing your own meal or taking advantage of the buvette and the various food trucks.
Throughout the day, entertainment will be laid on for all ages, kids and grown-ups alike. It will be unveiled very soon, so stay tuned. And to get you moving on the dance floor, a DJ and a live band are set to keep the atmosphere buzzing right through to the night drone show, featuring 150 drones.
Besides, why not take advantage of your stay in Villeparisis to explore this corner of Seine-et-Marne (77), strolling along the Ourcq canal, discovering the Saint-Martin Church, a fine example of 16th-century Gothic architecture, and wandering through the National Resistance Museum, nearby, which will set the military mood for the day?
