Traditionally held on July 14 for Bastille Day, the fireworks display is this year exceptionally launched from the Eiffel Tower on Monday, July 13. The same change applies to the Paris Grand Concert at the Champ de Mars, which precedes the pyrotechnic show.

National Day 2026: The Concert de Paris will echo across the Champ-de-Mars on July 13.
To crown Bastille Day in style, the Orchestre National de France, the Maîtrise, and the Radio France Choir stage a grand symphonic concert each year on the Champ-de-Mars, with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop. Because the fireworks this year are being held a day earlier than usual, the free concert has been moved to Monday, July 13, 2026. However, organizing these colossal events, as every year, causes disruptions on the roads. The Police Prefecture has therefore issued an order to oversee these flagship celebrations. Parking, secured perimeters, or no-entry zones for vehicles—the security arrangements remain substantial, with temporary traffic and parking changes announced on several streets in the 7th, 8th, 15th, and 16th arrondissements, and this from July 12 to 14, 2026.
We’re taking stock of these parking and traffic restrictions, in connection with the fireworks display launched from the Eiffel Tower and the concert at the Champ de Mars.
Paris fireworks and concert: traffic and parking restrictions on July 13, 2026
The movement of all motor vehicles is prohibited from July 12 at 11:00 p.m. to July 13, 2026 at 5:00 a.m. on the following roads and road segments, located in the 7th and 16th districts:
- Iéna Bridge;
- Jacques Chirac Quay, between Avenue de la Bourdonnais and Avenue de Suffren;
- United Nations Avenue, between Avenue Albert de Mun and Le Nôtre Street;
- Varsovie Square;
- New York Avenue, between Avenue Albert de Mun and Le Nôtre Street
Moreover, motor vehicle parking is also prohibited from July 13 at 7:00 a.m. to July 14, 2026 at 2:00 a.m. "inside the perimeter bounded by the following streets that are not affected by this parking ban, unless otherwise indicated", in Paris’s 7th, 8th, 15th, and 16th arrondissements:
- Sablons Street;
- Longchamp Street;
- Magdeburg Street;
- President Wilson Avenue, between Magdeburg Avenue and Alma Square;
- Alma Square;
- Alma Bridge, no parking;
- Branly Quay, no parking;
- Jacques Chirac Quay, no parking;
