The 14 July marks each year a defining moment of gathering in France. Festivities are held across the country with street entertainment, concerts, giant picnics, bals populaires and shows for young and old.
At nightfall, the fireworks take over and light up the towns, delivering a long-awaited finale that brings residents and visitors together in a festive and convivial atmosphere. As part of the National Day, the city of Montrouge invites you, as usual, to its traditional fireworks display.
This year, the fireworks display is not to be missed, but note that it won't be launched on the big day—it will take place the day before, on July 13, 2026, accompanied by a superb program.
From 7 p.m. on Bastille Day, the Allées Jean Jaurès transform into an enormous dance floor. Under the lanterns, to the sound of the DJ, everyone is invited to throw in a few steps. The evening culminates with a fireworks display, lighting up the sky in a thousand colors around 11 p.m.
A lineup of events just beyond Paris’ doorstep you won’t want to miss. Happy Fête Nationale 2026 to everyone!
