A not-to-be-missed summer event, the Fête nationale is back. Like every year, it's a chance to enjoy a free, convivial evening with friends and family, dance the night away at a popular ball, and marvel at the "red, blue, green and yellow beauties" of the fireworks display as you shoot off'Wow' after 'Wow'.
This traditional event has been celebrated every year since the Fête de la Fédération in 1790, and the storming of the Bastille the year before. It's a way of celebrating the unity of the nation and the advent of the republican model. So, are you ready to celebrate?
Attention all residents of the Val-de-Marne, the town of Santeny will be taking part, but note: festivities will run the day before the big day, on July 13, 2026. Île-de-France towns, guided by their own traditions and celebrations, are many that mark the Fête nationale on July 13 to avoid clashing with fireworks in neighboring cities.
In Santeny, head for the 4 saules site (voie aux vaches) to celebrate!
Join us on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 6:30 p.m., at the Four Willows site for a festive evening organized by the village of Santeny!
On the program: a community party with a DJ, food trucks, the Festival Committee’s refreshment stand, a champagne bar run by the Villecresnes firefighters, and a grand fireworks display at 11 p.m.
