The 14 July in France is a day of celebration. On this date that marks, among other things, the storming of the Bastille — a milestone in the French Revolution — the nation marks its National Day with a programme of traditional festivities. The summer lineup features the fireworks, the military parades, and a host of activities for all ages.
The night owls aren’t left out: across the Paris region, popular celebrations take over towns and municipalities. This is also the moment to enjoy the firefighters’ balls awaiting us across Île-de-France. Indeed, some fire stations open their doors for an evening of dancing until dawn.
