Fête Nationale 2026 : a firefighters’ ball in Athis-Mons (91), fireworks canceled

It's party time in Athis-Mons (91)! On July 13, 2026, to celebrate the national holiday, enjoy a raucous firefighters' ball! However, due to a prefectural order, the fireworks display has been cancelled.

Because of a prefectural ban on fireworks in Essonne from July 7 to 15, 2026, the fireworks planned for July 13 have been canceled. The firefighters’ ball, however, will go ahead starting at 7 p.m. at the Jean-Claude Lajoie Fire Station.

One of the summer’s marquee events: July 14th marks France’s National Day, and for the occasion, celebrations are planned across the country. Among the must-see festivities are the popular dances, the firefighters’ balls, and the Fireworks that light up the night sky!

The 2026 Bastille Day program in Athis-Mons:

Pack your jerseys and your fan scarves: this year, the July 13th evening will be dressed in FIFA World Cup colors! On Monday July 13, the City invites you to a grand night dedicated to football.

Starting at 7 p.m., bal des pompiers at the Jean-Claude Lajoie rescue center, featuring a raffle and plenty of prizes to win. Then, at 11:30 p.m. in front of the town hall, the feu d’artifice will light up, drawing on the world of competition. The fête will continue at the firefighters’ ball, with the traditional firefighters’ show and a dance floor open until 3 a.m.
