Due to the heatwave, the fireworks are canceled in the Essonne department until July 15, 2026. A measure that also applies to torchlight processions. This means that for the National Day, no pyrotechnic display will take place in the 91, neither on July 13 nor 14, 2026.
This decision was made for safety reasons in order to limit the risk of fires. But if the sky essonnien can’t light up under the feux d’artifice, that doesn’t mean the Fête Nationale can’t be celebrated!
