Following a prefectural decree, the town of Corbeil-Essonnes is obliged to cancel the fireworks display as well as the festive evening with a concert that had been planned for July 13, 2026. "This decision follows the measures taken by the Prefecture of Essonne in response to the very high fire risk linked to the heat and drought," the municipality said on its social networks, and noted that a "new date will be announced soon."

Beware of parking and traffic restrictions. Starting Saturday, July 11 at 8:00 a.m., parking will be prohibited in the following areas: - Quai Maurice Riquiez - Quai Bourgoin - Quai Mauzaisse - Rue de la Pêcherie - Rue Ferdinand Buisson. Vehicle towing of violators will be carried out by the municipal police. On July 13 from 8:00 a.m., car traffic will be prohibited on the following routes: - Quai Bourgoin - Rue Saint-Nicolas. From 10:00 p.m. on July 13, vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be restricted in the vicinity of the fireworks zones.
