For Atef Barbouche, the greengrocer who came up with the idea of a 100% fruit log, the exercise took weeks of thought, and each log requires several hours of work between cutting and assembling the fruit.
The result is quite stunning, both visually and in terms of taste, as Atef Barbouche doesn't mess around with quality: the fruit (organic, it's worth pointing out) arrives in the store on the day of delivery and is worked on within a few hours of delivery to ensure that the nutrients are still present and the flavours are the best possible when tasted.
We were able to taste a preview, and we really liked the combination of these exotic fruits. This log seems so logical that we wonder why no one had thought of it before.
