During the Christmas holidays, the City of Light shines brightly, making its neighborhoods and iconic streets sparkle. The 8th arrondissement is no exception to tradition, and this year will launchthe Faubourg Saint Honoré illuminations on Monday, November 17, 2025. Facades, shop windows, and streets are adorned with sparkling lights, transforming the neighborhood into an unmissable illuminated trail.
Last year, after the traditional Republican Guard parade, the lights were switched on by actress Emmanuelle Béart and Miss France 2021, Amandine Petit, to the delight of passersby. This 2025 edition focuses on the essentials: the lights themselves, with giant, eco-friendly structures equipped with low-energy LEDs and made from recyclable materials. There will be no official evening event or entertainment as in previous years, just the pleasure of strolling around and enjoying the City of Light.
Let the lights guide you and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the holiday season in Paris.
