Every year in Paris, it's impossible to celebrate Christmas without seeing the illuminations. In department stores such as Printemps, la Samaritaine or Galeries Lafayette , or outdoors on the Champs-Elysées, in Bercy Village... For young and old alike, there's plenty to do as they wait for Santa Claus to arrive!
Join us on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 7 p.m., Place Maubert Mutualité, to kick off this festive adventure. Over the course of three hours, set out to find the most stunning Christmas trees and charming garlands, uncovering the city’s magical holiday spirit. This urban walk is suitable for children, as long as they’re comfortable walking several hours at a relaxed pace and on flat ground.
One thing's for sure: during this walk, you'll be treated to some stunning sights! The return is scheduled for around 10 p.m., at Pont de l'Alma. Before setting off on this lovely Parisian Christmas adventure, make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, and don a hat, gloves, scarf, and waterproof clothing if the weather turns cold or rainy.
The Panamées are cultural walks held on the third Thursday of each month. They are offered by the Comité de la randonnée pédestre de Paris, are entirely free and last an average of three hours, making them accessible to all!
