This year, Easter might arrive a little earlier, at least in the Villa Daguerre park. While Easter weekend falls in early April this year, it’s actually on Saturday, March 28, 2026 that the traditional egg hunt takes place in Bry-sur-Marne. The town in Val-de-Marne hosts its annual event in the charming park of Villa Daguerre, where French painter and photographer Louis Daguerre spent his final years. Today, the site is recognized as a "Regional Heritage Site".
As every year, egg hunts are a huge hit during this season! Young explorers will have the chance to find a silver egg (for children aged 3-4) at the 10 a.m. session or a golden egg (for ages 5 to 7) at 11 a.m., promising a delicious reward, of course in chocolate, along with a prize for the winner.
Children can join the hunt for 5 euros each. Parents are required to stay on site during the event. Please note that registration is essential and spots are limited. To secure your place, it’s highly recommended to call a head at 01 48 82 30 30 or 06 17 42 44 23.
