The chocolate becomes a playground in the capable hands of Pierre Hermé. For Easter 2026, the famed Parisian pastry-chef-chocolatier unveils his Ludique collection, available since March 5, 2026 in stores and on the online site. Between chocolate darts, solitaire, draughts and puzzle, each piece taps into childhood and craftsmanship with the same precision.
We kick off the round with l'œuf Dans le Mille, an innovative darts game offered in milk chocolate or blond caramelized chocolate with sea salt, available in 250 g for €39. Next up is the Solitaire, for those who don’t want to share, and Pierre Hermé gives them a good reason: 280 g of milk and dark chocolate for €42. The Jeu de Dames also makes its entrance, with an egg-plateau and its pieces in Infiniment Praliné Amande, milk and dark chocolate (520 g, 20 cm, €69).
For those with a different palate, the two-piece Puzzle delivers a surprising mix of crispy bits, mini eggs and walls lined with almond praline (878 g, 89€). On the sculptural side, the Knight draws on chessboard aesthetics with its clean lines and is offered in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or blond caramelized chocolate with sea salt: 29€ for 170 g, 49€ for 330 g (the latter, in blond chocolate, is an exclusive Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet).
Our favorite goes to the Signature piece "Dialogue des Formes", inspired by the American sculptor Christopher Curtis's work Mini Puzzle Stone. Pierre Hermé renders here a sculpture built to last into a fleeting, indulgent experience of nearly 4 kg, pairing dark chocolate Pure Origin Belize and milk chocolate, perched on a hazelnut praline beyond measure as a gaming table. Each drawer hides a surprise: chess pieces, dominoes, an edible puzzle, dice and a filled chocolate tablet. A one-off piece by commission only, price on request. As for the exceptional piece "Pur Hasard", it transforms the carnival claw machine into a sculpture of nearly 7 kg of chocolate, limited to two copies.
The collection also extends to pastries. The white pawn becomes a dessert with Aura, where coconut, lemongrass and strawberry balance each other with finesse (€12 for a single, up to €84 for 8 servings). Its counterpart, Plénitude, reinterprets the chocolate-caramel pairing from Fetish, with a salted fleur de sel shortcrust, chocolate biscuit and caramel Chantilly, in the same formats. On the pastry side, the Colombe Infinitely Chocolat combines sourdough brioche dough, shards of Pure Origin Venezuela Grand Cru Araguani chocolate and candied orange (€35), while the Colombe Ispahan offers the iconic rose, raspberry and lychee aromas in a lighter, more hypnotic version (€35).
To extend the game, a gift box featuring 28 dark chocolate dominos from São Tomé and Belize, in milk and blond caramel, is offered at €27. The must‑have Easter treats (assorted milk, dark and blond, 70 g, €10) and the “Jeu de Dames” filled bars with praline almond in dark or milk (120 g, €16 each) round out the set.
This collection is designed for fans of exceptional Easter chocolates who want to blend design with indulgence, whether as a gift or a personal treat. We’ll happily bring it to the family table or showcase it in a shop window as an edible work of art. All of the creations are available at Pierre Hermé Paris boutiques (notably at 72 Rue Bonaparte, Paris 6th) and on pierreherme.com.
Other addresses to explore for Easter 2026: the floral and poetic chocolates from Ladurée or the countryside picnic and farm animals imagined by Edwart Chocolatier to switch things up.
