Easter holidays 2026: the family program at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris

During the spring break 2026, young Parisians and residents of Île-de-France enjoy two weeks off school: for the occasion, we head to rediscover the various sites that make up the National Museum of Natural History, from the Musée de l'Homme to the Jardin des Plantes, via the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution or the Galerie de Paléontologie, the Parc Zoologique de Paris... all offering during these holidays programs specifically designed for young audiences.

Alongside the current exhibitions, such as Momies at the musée de l'Homme, Déserts at the Grande Galerie de l'Evolution, the National Museum of Natural History offers creative workshops, educational activities and other family-guided tours to discover, awaken and marvel during these Easter holidays.

At the Jardin des Plantes

Discovering the deserts! (exhibition)

Carnivores' feeding sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 5:30 p.m.
Keeper encounters, daily, suitable for ages 6 and up (11:30 a.m. for Seychelles turtles, 2:45 p.m. for the cassowary, 3:15 p.m. for the golden lion tamarin, 3:45 p.m. for the Malayan tapir, 4:45 p.m. for the red pandas)
“Green Tea Case” investigative tour, Wednesdays and Sundays at 11 a.m., for ages 6 and up
