Everyone has their own way of celebrating Halloween : some indulge in every candy and chocolate they can get their hands on, others love dancing amid zombies and witches, and still others face off against mad scientists in escape rooms... And cinephiles get their scare from horror films!
The Guimet Museum marks Halloween on the big screen with the Nuit K-Horror, a deep dive into Korean horror cinema. Beginning at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2026, the museum’s auditorium will screen two films by South Korean director Yeon Sang-ho. A celebrated artist and undisputed master of horror, Yeon Sang-ho shot to global fame with Train to Busan (2016). Several of his films have since enjoyed widespread success in South Korea and abroad.
With this K-Horror night, the Guimet Museum invites us to (re)discover Korean cinema for free while immersing us in the Halloween spirit in Paris. A wonderful evening awaits cinema lovers!
The ticket office for this K-Horror night opens on October 16. Stay tuned—the tickets are expected to sell out fast! To whet your appetite ahead of Halloween, here are the synopses for the two films on this year’s lineup.
