In Milly-la-Forêt, Halloween also takes the cinema by storm. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Ciné-Lines program offers a full day of screenings, taking spectators from the earliest monster tales to the horror films of the evening. And costumes come with a small reward: a bag of candy is given to every audience member in costume.
The youngest kick off the program with Mon petit Halloween, a trio of short films. This screening invites audiences to rediscover the holiday’s magic from a child’s perspective, before the cinema moves on to other family adventures.
For children aged 6-12, the event poster features Ducobu and the Ghost of Saint-Potache and Shaun the Sheep: The Halloween Monster. A ghost at school on one side, adventures around Halloween at the farm on the other: two kid-friendly worlds fueling this cinema afternoon.
As the day wears on, the screenings shift in tone. M3GAN is on the lineup for those chasing chills, with a no under-12s policy. The films Flush and Kraken, also on the schedule, carry a no under-16s rule. So you’ll need to choose your movie with these age limits in mind, even if you’re coming with an adult.
The event kicks off this afternoon at 13 rue du Camp Romain, Milly-la-Forêt, in Essonne. The full programme and reservations are available on the Ciné-Lines site. Dressing up remains an invitation to keep the party going inside the cinema: a cape, a hat, or makeup can be enough to blend in with the costumed crowd.
