In the context of Heritage Days, Saint-Vincent-De-Paul Church offers guided or self-guided tours, free of charge, on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Here's what to expect.

Calling all architecture lovers... For the 43rd edition of the Heritage Days, the Saint-Vincent-De-Paul Church welcomes the curious and enthusiasts of art and history for visits on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Built between 1824 and 1844 to serve a rapidly expanding district by Jacques Ignace Hittorff, the church bears the name of a figure from the spiritual renewal and apostolic movement of the 17th century.

With its dominant antique, Greek and Roman forms and Byzantine-style interior, the church is famous for its long frieze of Christian saints painted by Hyppolyte Flandrin in the nave, and for its large Christ in Majesty by François Édouard Picot on the choir vault. A fine work to be admired on this occasion.

For the Journées du Patrimoine, you're invited to visit the church on your own, or take part in guided tours on Sunday afternoons. Note that the galleries are exceptionally accessible for the occasion, to contemplate the friezes byHyppolyte Flandrin. You can also access the terrace to admire the Paris skyline. An opportunity to take some great photos of the city. Shall we go, friends?
