The Heritage Days are among the flagship events of September in Paris and the Île-de-France region. This cultural rendezvous, spanning Europe, invites you to enjoy a rich lineup of tours, often free, and new activities at museums, monuments, institutions, châteaux and other places that make up our heritage.
This popular plan usually unfolds on the third weekend of September. This year, the 43rd edition of Heritage Days is scheduled for the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2026, and for the occasion, a fabulous program awaits in Paris and in Île-de-France.
What if we took advantage of this 43rd edition to set out to conquer the Francilien heritage, still too little-known! On the Hauts-de-Seine side, it's time to discover the city of Suresnes located within reach of a Navigo pass. Here, for the Heritage Days 2026, a wide program of visits is on the menu, which should give you a nice overview of the sites of interest in the commune. You'll have plenty to keep you busy for a full day during this exceptional weekend! We’re unveiling the detailed program right here!

Guided tour of the exhibition Garden Cities: An Inhabited Utopia
LAST DAY to discover this exhibition, born from the publication of the book Les cités-jardins, une utopie habitée, released to mark the 10th anniversary of the Association régionale des cités-jardins d’Île-de-France in 2025. It traces the history of the creation of garden cities and, more specifically, of 12 of them. The illustrations were created by professional artists who were hosted in one of the member towns as part of an artist residency. The artists’ aim was to meet residents and tell this story through their perspective.
