Journées du Patrimoine 2025 in Paris: guided tours of the Musée Marmottan Monet

Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, François Xavier Fabre, Edouard Manet... The Musée Marmottan Monet, deep in the 16th arrondissement, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, is home to some of the finest masterpieces of the Impressionist era. This First Empire mansion boasts an extensive collection of works ranging from paintings and sculptures to furniture, illuminations and even the swords of academicians!

If you'd like to discover this museum and its rich collections, book your weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025: on the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine, the Musée Marmottan Monet is open all weekend long, and is offering special events to let us enjoy this exceptional place of art. Please note that admission to the museum is not free during the JEP 2025.

Every year, the Journées du Patrimoine open the doors of many historic and cultural sites in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region. The aim of this event is to showcase the heritage of every corner of France, whether museums, places of worship, places of power, factories and plants, theaters and sports venues, architectural curiosities, gardens, monuments...
