For those planning to visit theEiffel Tower in early 2026, please note that the top of Paris' most famous monument will be closed to the public from January 5 to February 6, 2026. Yes, like every year, the Iron Lady needs a makeover to better welcome visitors for the rest of the year.
While the top of the tower offers breathtaking, dizzying views of the capital, the top floor of the Eiffel Tower is still exposed to weather conditions that regularly require renovation work. Unsurprisingly, at an altitude of 300 meters, the winds are stronger and bad weather can damage this spot that inspires so many dreams around the world. During this annual closure, our beloved Iron Lady is being pampered to provide even more safety and comfort to her admirers. A blessing in disguise!
So, of course, a visit to the summit is out of the question, but the Eiffel Tower has more than one trick up its sleeve to delight visitors. We can console ourselves by taking advantage of the beautiful terrace on the 1st floor, and don't forget Jules Vernes, the Eiffel Tower's legendary restaurant, or the macaroon bar on the second floor.
See you on February 7, 2026, to enjoy the top of the Eiffel Tower once again! And to admire Paris from above during this closure, you can turn to another Parisian monument.
