The 2025 tax return has been open for a few weeks now! Online tax filers have until June 5, in the Paris region, to complete it, but many French people and Parisians are struggling to complete their income tax returns, depending on their professional and personal situation, because it has to be said that it's not always easy! If this applies to you, don't panic!
On May 15, 2025, the City of Paris and lawyers specializing in tax law from the Paris Bar will be on hand, free of charge, to help you cope with this annual administrative chore. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., lawyers will be on hand to offer personalized, confidential and anonymous advice and assistance. Open to all Parisians, these office hours are held in the local town halls (mairies d'arrondissements), as part of an initiative to promote access to the law.
To take advantage of this service, go to your arrondissement town hall, where you will be welcomed at the Maison de la Vie Associative et Citoyenne. Don't forget to bring your 2024 tax return and any other documents you may need. You can also get help from the tax department, by phone on 0 809 401 401, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 7pm.
