A fire is currently raging in the south of Paris, in the town of Clamart (92). A cloud of black smoke has been billowing into the Paris skies since 1pm on Monday, May 12, 2025. Witnesses also report hearing the sound of an explosion.
The fire is thought to have broken out at Clamart's Hunebelle stadium, which is currently under construction. The explosions were caused by gas cylinders.
We advise you to remain cautious, to stay away from the area to facilitate the work of the emergency services, and to close your windows to avoid exposure to the fumes.
