After the bridges of May, we're now in June. This year, the next public holiday, Whit Monday, falls on Monday June 9, 2025. While some of you will be working on this day because of the solidarity day, others will be taking advantage of this non-working day to extend the weekend. Whether you're a Parisian or a resident of the Ile-de-France region, you'll have plenty of great ideas for outings!
However, in some respects, prevention is better than cure. And in the case of public transport, roadworks can affect traffic on the metro, RER, tramway and Transilien lines. Some disruptions are announced in advance, so travelers can prepare accordingly. Some lines may stop earlier, others may see their traffic interrupted, stations may be closed... all inconveniences that can be a little annoying if you find yourself faced with a fait accompli.
