A final farewell will be paid to Nadia Farès on April 24, 2026 in Paris. Her family has announced that the actress’s funeral will take place this Friday at 3:30 p.m., at the Saint-Jean-de-Montmartre Church in the 18th arrondissement of the capital. According to notices published on Tuesday by the family in Le Monde and Le Figaro, “white flowers” are requested.
Nadia Farès has died on April 17, 2026, at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris after several days in a coma. The actress was admitted on April 12 following a medical incident at the pool of a private club on Rue Blanche, in the 9th arrondissement of the capital.
Since then, tributes have poured in, led by those from her daughters Shana and Cylia Chasman. "I’m having a hard time believing it, but this is the most real thing I’ve ever experienced. I never imagined you’d leave so soon. I thought we had more time", wrote Shana on Instagram.
Celebrities from the world of cinema also paid tribute, including Guillaume Canet. "Our magnificent conversations... Our fits of laughter... Your valuable advice... Your playlists of music that nourished many of my films! Magical and unforgettable moments! We were supposed to meet these days. I find it so hard to believe this will never happen again... I will keep you forever in my heart!" was posted on Instagram by the actor, director and screenwriter, on Instagram.
As reported by our colleagues at Le Monde, Nadia Farès was slated to begin shooting her first feature film as screenwriter and director this coming September.
This Friday, many will be eager to pay their final respects to Nadia Farès. Note that the actress's funeral will take place on the same day as Nathalie Baye's.
