Paris transformed into a seaside resort? While Parisians have become accustomed to Paris Plages and the Canal Summer, this year's summer season comes with a host of new features, including celebrations that pay tribute to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. At a press conference on Monday, May 26, 2025, Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo presented a foretaste of what's in store for us in Paris this summer 2025.

One year ago, theParisian summer vibrated to the rhythm of the Olympic Games, which took over the capital for the first time in 100 years. The event also set the tone for the capital's renewal, with events organized in the Seine. The tone was set: a year later, new branches of the Seine are open to the general public, and that's just the beginning!

This Parisian summer is shaping up to be one big open-air party. Numerous highlights are set to rock the capital, echoing history with the Liberation of Paris, Paris 2024 with events echoing the opening ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the summer programs that enliven the capital every year. From Paris Plages to the Festival des Places, not forgetting the Fête de la Musique and the Fête de la Seine, this is what theParisian summer will be like.

The least we can say is that the program promises to be over-vitaminized. La dolce Vita à la parisienne" awaits you all summer long, and promises you festive, sporty and relaxed moments in the company of your loved ones!
