Get ready to relive an exceptional cultural night with the return of the Nuit des Musées, this Saturday, May 23, 2026! This unique and free event opens the doors of the finest museums and essential institutions of Paris and Île-de-France after dark. A privileged evening when cultural venues celebrate art in a new light, with guided tours, performances, screenings, and much more! The chance to see or revisit permanent or temporary collections, meet artists, take part in creative workshops, and attend live performances, all in a magical and festive atmosphere.
The Nuit des Musées 2026 also offers the chance to discover hidden gems beyond Paris. One of them, the Musée Daubigny, is tucked in the historic heart of Auvers-sur-Oise, one of the most beautiful villages in France. This museum highlights the life and work of Charles-François Daubigny, a 19th‑century master and precursor of the Impressionists.
Based in the Manoir des Colombières, opposite the Ravoux Inn where the painter Vincent Van Gogh spent his final moments, the institution reveals a stunning collection of Daubigny’s paintings, drawings, engravings and personal objects, along with works by his fellow artists. While the permanent collection is devoted to this great painter, the temporary exhibitions are also a major asset of the museum. Discover what this new edition of the Night of Museums in Val-d'Oise has in store for you...
Note: during the renovations, the Daubigny Museum will relocate and set up at the Maison de L'Isle, on Rue Marcel Martin in Auvers-sur-Oise.
