Designed to feel festive, popular, welcoming, and, at times, family-friendly — yet free and open to everyone! The Fête de la musique is back across France on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Once again this year, a wealth of concerts awaits, with tips for great finds in parks and gardens, bars and cafés, churches, cultural centers, or concert halls.
In Paris, several of these venues are planning to host amateur and/or professional groups, so that live music in all its forms can resonate. If you love rock and are planning to celebrate the fête de la musique in the capital's 12th arrondissement, then head for the Supersonic. Paris's most famous rock venue, the Supersonic regularly opens its doors to free concerts, pop rock nights, aftershows and tributes.
Thus, every Sunday since 2016, Supersonic has paid homage to the great names of rock and pop. On Sunday, June 21, 2026, for the Fête de la Musique, a slate of local bands will take the stage to perform the era’s biggest hits live for this “Sunday Tribute: Best Of” special. From Blondie to Avril Lavigne, via Paramore, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, ABBA, Téléphone… come soak up the best of rock!
