Heads up: venue change for Music Day 2026 in Maisons-Alfort. Due to the intense heat, the City confirms that the festive music evening, originally slated for the forecourt of the Town Hall on Sunday, June 21 from 5:30 p.m. to midnight, will instead be held at the Moulin Brûlé Park, at 47 Avenue Foch.
A new Fête de la musique and a new program! Once again this year, there's an abundance of free concerts in Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region. It's a chance to fill up on rock, jazz, blues, electro, classical, variety, soul, zouk and funk.
The Fête de la Musique was born in 1982. Under the impetus of Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, Maurice Fleuret and Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer and member of the Cabinet, the very first Fête de la Musique was launched in France on June 21, 1982. Since then, the event has gone from strength to strength, and has even been exported abroad.
This Sunday, June 21, 2026, if you live in the Val-de-Marne, more precisely around Maisons-Alfort, then head to the forecourt of the City Hall, the Moulin Brûlé Park, or Maisons-Alfort Beach to enjoy the city’s musical and convivial activities. Note, these events take place outdoors: the program may change depending on the weather.
