World Music Day 2026: Amel Bent to perform a free concert in Thiais (94)

Want to celebrate the music? Join us on Sunday, June 21, 2026 for the new edition of the Fête de la Musique. Held every year on June 21, this popular, spirited event is a cornerstone of France’s musical life.

For a full day and into the evening, musicians of all levels—amateurs and professionals—take to the streets, but also fill bars and restaurants, parks and gardens, museums, and various institutions, letting living music ring out.

While free concerts are plentiful in Paris, a host of other musical happenings are also staged across Île-de-France. This year, for the 2026 edition of the Fête de la Musique, the City of Thiais in the Val-de-Marne invites the artist Amel Bent for a one-of-a-kind, free and friendly musical evening. In previous editions, Thiais residents could look forward to performances by Émile et Images, Larusso, Lââm, Colonel Reyel, Collectif Métissé, Sheila, Youssoupha, Bénabar, Christophe Willem, and last year, Black M.

Save the date: Amel Bent invites you to Sunday, June 21, 2026 on the Parc de l'Europe stage for a free outdoor concert starting at 9 p.m.

We note that Amel Bent  has eight studio albums to date. It’s been more than 20 years since Amel Bent has been delighting French audiences with songs such as « Ma Philosophie », « Pourquoi tu restes », « Jusqu’au bout », or even « Où je vais ». On 21 June in Thiais, the singer — who is also a coach on TF1’s The Voice — is expected to perform a handful of tracks from her latest opus, titled «Minuit une».
