La Fête de la Musique 2026 remains on in Rueil-Malmaison this Sunday, June 21, but the program has been revised due to the heatwave. Outdoor concerts will begin at 7 p.m.
Heads up: the 2026 Fête de la Musique lineup has been tailored for Rueil-Malmaison. Because of the extreme heat, the city states that all outdoor concerts will start no earlier than 7:00 PM. Indoor concerts remain scheduled, provided that the temperature conditions allow them to take place safely.
Feel like celebrating music? Like every year, join us on June 21 for the traditional Fête de la musique! For over 40 years now, this popular and festive event has been a treat for amateur musicians, eager to share their musical style with as many people as possible. As well as offering free concerts in the streets and many other venues, the Fête de la Musique gives budding musicians the chance to express their talent and play to audiences in search of something new.
Thus, every June 21, free concerts pop up all over for a single day that shines a spotlight on every musical style (rock, pop, metal, rap, hip-hop, R&B, classical, French variété, blues, jazz, electro...).
This year, the Fête de la musique returns on Sunday, June 21, 2026 with a raft of musical plans to enjoy in Paris and across Île-de-France, including Rueil-Malmaison. This Île-de-France town in the Hauts-de-Seine invites young and old on June 21, 2026 from 11 a.m. to share memorable musical moments around the commune. Here’s the program!
Note: due to the heatwave, all outdoor concerts will not begin before 7:00 PM. Indoor concerts remain on, subject to temperature conditions.
