Tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are going to be particularly hard to find. But fortunately, some of them will be available for free, if you do it right!

The first phase of the draw for the Olympic Games ticketing is now over, and many French people are frustrated. Not to have been drawn, but also not to have been able to buy a place, even with a slot, because of too high prices or unavailability of sports. Another session is planned for May, to try to buy individual seats, if there are any left. But in any case, there are some sports of the Paris 2024 Olympics that you can see for free, with a little organization!

Many disciplines, some of which will be held outdoors and will thus become accessible to the public. If you are a fan of marathon, cycling, rowing, walking or triathlon, then you will be able to admire the athletes practicing during the Olympic Games! However, seats are sold for these sports, starting at 24 euros. For example, to watch the finish of the marathon at Les Invalides, you will have to pay. But you will be able to follow the runners all along the 42km course to encourage the French, for free!

All the open water events in the Seine will also be visible without a ticket for many French people. All you have to do is stand on the right banks or bridges to see the triathletes swim. In road cycling, ditto! On the other hand, to enjoy sailing and surfing, unless you live in Marseille or Tahiti, you will still have to pay for the trip! But the athletes will be able to be applauded for free.

And let's not forget the opening ceremony, which everyone can watch without paying a cent! The delegations of all the participating countries will cross the Seine over ten kilometers on boats, visible from the quays by the hundreds of thousands of people who will make the trip. Of course, for those who can't make it to the capital during these few days of emotion, they will be able to watch the competition live on TV, without having to travel all over Paris on public transport!
