However, the capital must also adapt to host the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The influx of visitors, ephemeral infrastructures and safety standards are imposing adjustments and restrictions on the City of Light. This applies not only to road traffic, but also to the capital's public transport network. For example, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, several metro stations on the various lines will be closed.
