The Cannes Film Festival 2026 has revealed the names of the members who will form the jury for feature films of this 79th edition, to be held from May 12 to 23, 2026 on the Croisette. A highly anticipated announcement for cinephiles!
The name of the jury president had already been announced weeks ago: it is the South Korean director, screenwriter and producer Park Chan-wook. By his side, eight members will face the formidable task of sorting through the 22 films in competition to award the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival (2026), as well as a lineup of other prestigious prizes — the Grand Prix, the Jury Prize, the Award for Best Mise en Scène, the Award for Best Screenplay, and the Awards for Best Actor and Best Actress.
The jury members of the Cannes Film Festival 2026 are as follows: American actress and producer Demi Moore, Irish-Ethiopian actress and producer Ruth Negga, Belgian-born director and screenwriter Laura Wandel, Chinese director and screenwriter Chloé Zhao, Chilean director and screenwriter Diego Céspedes, Ivorian-American actor Isaach De Bankolé, Scottish screenwriter Paul Laverty, and Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård.
So, who will follow Jafar Panahi's film Un simple accident by Jafar Panahi and take home the Palme d'Or 2026 awarded by this prestigious jury? The answer arrives on Saturday, May 23.
