As every year, the Cannes Film Festival’s Camera d’Or for 2026 will be awarded to a debut feature. Discover the lineup of competing films.

The Camera d'Or, one of the Cannes Film Festival's most prestigious prizes, honors each year a debut feature film selected for the official selection or in the parallel sections. The list of competition films for the Camera d'Or 2026 has just been unveiled, following the announcements of the films in the official selection and in the parallel selections.

This prize, which highlights youth, the emotion of first works, and a sense of freshness as a driving force, helps to underline the talent of young emerging filmmakers on the world stage. Last year, the jury had awarded The President's Cake by Hasan Hadi.

Among past laureates, we also name renowned filmmakers such as Jim Jarmusch, Jafar Panahi, Ildikó Enyedi, Steve McQueen and Anthony Chen. Discover without delay the 2026 contenders!
