The 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from 12 to 23 May 2026. At the traditional press conference, the lineup for the competition and out-of-competition sections was revealed. Among them, 21 titles in the running for the coveted Palme d'Or!

The jury, chaired by Park Chan-wook, will face the daunting task of deciding which film in competition will take home the Palme d'Or 2026 on May 23. Beyond the Palme d'Or, several other prizes will be handed out at the festival's close, including the Grand Prix, the Best Director award, the Best Screenplay prize, the Jury Prize, and the acting honors for Best Actress and Best Actor.
