This economic boom, however, spills over into new social and political tensions, hastening the city’s decline.
This second season is directed by Laura Mora and Carlos Moreno. The writing brings together, among others, María Camila Arias, Natalia Santa, and Camila Brugés. The series continues to explore the book’s core themes: memory, isolation, family cycles, and Macondo’s clash with the outside world.
