Films common to both programs

A TEAM SPORT

Ultra-runner Courtney Dauwalter is one of the greatest athletes in the history of the sport. Continuing to break records, in 2023 she became the first person to wear the Triple Crown of ultra-running. Courtney owes this success not only to her exceptional physique and mental strength, but to the entire team around her. Because, contrary to popular belief, ultra-trailing is a team sport.

109 BELOW

Mount Washington, the playground of mountaineers on the east coast of the USA, is a region renowned for record-breaking low temperatures and deadly storms. To rescue climbers in danger, a team of volunteer rescuers intervenes whatever the weather. In 1982, a rescue attempt changed not only the lives of two climbers, but also those of the rescuers who went to find them.

IAN

Ian Elliott defies stereotypes by continuing, at the ripe old age of 72, to climb committed routes. His skill, technique, strength and stamina are admired by younger generations, but as the septuagenarian says: "I don't have to prove anything to anyone, I just like being on the crags and climbing."

2 LEGS IS 2 EASY

In the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, one resident is an inspiration to many. Steve Karczewski never knew what it was like to have two legs, and that never stopped him from doing whatever he wanted on the snowy slopes or mountain bike trails.
