The complete edition gathers the two installments of the vengeance saga led by Uma Thurman. The story follows The Bride, a former member of an elite assassins’ organization who was left for dead on her wedding day by Bill, her former mentor and lover. After surviving a gunshot to the head and losing the baby she carried, she wakes from a coma with one clear objective: to track down those who betrayed her.
Before facing Bill, The Bride must track down the members of the International Detachment of the Assassin Vipers. Her journey takes her from one foe to the next, in a sprawling tapestry drawn from martial-arts cinema, the Western, the samurai film, the crime thriller, and Japanese animation.
Released separately in 2003 and 2004, the two volumes of Kill Bill are presented here as a single, continuous film. Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair speaks to both newcomers to The Bride’s story and fans who already know the two parts and want to see this extended version on the big screen.
With this release, StudioCanal brings back one of Quentin Tarantino's most iconic films, offering a version that the studio describes as being closer to the director's complete vision.
