Since its creation in 1985, the Fête du Cinéma has been bringing French cinema-goers back to the cinemas. During this promotional operation, similar to Printemps du Cinéma, all screenings are priced at €5 (€4 until 2022), in the 6,000 cinemas open in France. Whether you're a fan of comedies, blockbusters or dramas, there's something for everyone at this 38th edition, which runs from Sunday July 2 to Wednesday July 5 inclusive.
Every year, the festival is one of the most important events in the world of cinema. And with good reason: while the price of cinema tickets is becoming a real issue, especially in multiplexes, for a few days these prices are frozen at the advantageous rate of 5 euros (excluding surcharges for 3D films and special screenings)!
