What if magic came to life in an escape game? With Le Magicien de Paris, Deep Inside, located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, takes players on an immersive adventure off the beaten track. Behind the door, a mysterious workshop, that of a strange character born of the imagination of the venue's creators. Already crowned best in the Paris Region at the Escape Game Awards in 2022 and 2024, this venue combines illusion, puzzles and immersive theater.

Synopsis of The Wizard of Paris at Deep Inside:

"Magicians have a mission to surprise us with their spectacular illusions, as is the case with the renowned Magicien de Paris. By day, he performs exceptional tricks, but when he returns to his creative workshop, his magic is much more experimental... His latest creation is so powerful that it's quite disturbing. If no one tries to steal it from him, it could cause a lot of damage. We'll have to be just as creative as he is if we're to uncover this well-kept secret".

An escape game that's actually a little more than that... And with good reason: there's no stopwatch here! You have more or less 70 minutes to complete the adventure, since no failure is possible. The aim: to enjoy the experience to the full! An escape game that also adds a touch of immersive theater, with several actors you'll meet along the way, and an unexpected twist you'll have to discover!

And since 2025, the room has undergone a complete overhaul: new storytelling, new mechanisms, new puzzles, reworked special effects and reinvented magical elements... The idea: to push back the limits of immersion. An adventure that is also more fluid, richer and more spectacular than its first incarnation.

Who is Le Magicien de Paris for?

Deep Inside 's Le Magicien de Parisescape game is aimed at a wide audience. Designed as a no-fail immersive adventure, it's ideal for families looking for a fun, theatrical experience without the pressure of a stopwatch. Lovers of magic and illusions will also find something to their liking, as will escape game enthusiasts looking for a more narrative experience, where interaction with actors takes center stage. With its meticulous decor, special effects and 2025 revisited scenario, the room will appeal to the curious and experienced alike.

On the other hand, the experience may not be for everyone. Fans of purely cerebral challenges, accustomed to complex puzzles and competitive rooms with a tight timer, are likely to be left wanting. Similarly, those seeking an oppressive atmosphere or a thrill/adrenaline adventure may find the experience too gentle. Finally, groups looking for a classic, competitive escape game, based above all on speed and solving logical puzzles, will have to turn to other experiences.

Our test of Le Magicien de Paris at Deep Inside :

And an experience we were even able to test again, to discover its revisited version... And the immersion is still there, much more so than in a classic escape game. We particularly appreciate the sets, created by the Artigo workshops (those behind Majestic Escape Game's magnificent Titanic room), which are highly advanced, for an even more intense immersion experience.

We also appreciate the special effects, which are quite nice and make the whole thing very coherent. As for the riddles, they've been revised almost in their entirety (go on, the three quarters, the compass in the eye...), making for an even smoother resolution than before, and adding winks to several magic tricks (very amusing, by the way). The story, for its part, changes very little, with only a few elements added, but the whole is much more dynamic, immersive and fluid. Some of the puzzles are a little simpler, especially in the first one, which gave us a lot of trouble the first time around. Expect a number of little surprises along the way, too - they're well worth the detour!

Note also that the adventure takes place in a space of over 70m2, which gives you plenty of room to move around. No particular level of skill is required, whether you're a beginner or not, since the experience involves more digging and manipulation than thinking. A great experience to discover with family or friends, for all lovers of magic and sleight-of-hand. A must-see!
