Do you like Indiana Jones? Then you'll love L'Expédition Maudite, One Hour's brand new escape game that takes you deep into the heart of a mine... We've tested it, and we'll tell you all about it!

LikeIndiana Jones in the heart of Paris... Rather than strolling through a Mayan temple as you would at Le Triangle Escape Game, One Hour, the escape game chain based in the 11th arrondissement, invites you to plunge into a mine with L'Expédition Maudite, its brand new room with a decor worthy of the best Harrison Ford adventure films!

What's involved? "You're a group of adventurers on a quest to find lost explorers in an old mine. This adventure will take you along winding paths to fantastic places where no one has set foot for thousands of years. But beware... there are rumors that the path to get there may be more complicated than expected", reads the company's website... it's a dream come true!

Riddles, traps, magical locations, special effects, high-tech mechanisms and other mysteries await you for a unique experience, right in the heart of an adventure film. Please note, however, that for this room, participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing for easy movement. This adventure is also not recommended for claustrophobics. Note also that a"slight physical aptitude" is required to take part, in order to be able to clear several elements.

A room that the editors were able to test. And let's cut to the chase: it was probably one of our best sessions ever! The puzzles are relatively straightforward, but not overly so, as the experience prefers to concentrate on its storytelling. The story is intense, dynamic and very well written. As for the scenery, it's a real hit, and fans of ancient history should find it to their liking. Note that there is, in theory, no time limit, since the idea is to let you finish the experience. But by collecting as many treasures as possible, you'll have the chance to set yourself apart from the other teams.

It's a relatively physical room, too, as you'll often have to crawl, or even run, but it's well worth the effort. However, don't bring your children (under 14s are forbidden), as the experience is clearly not for them. An escape game that should appeal to all adventurers. Shall we book a session, folks?

This test was conducted as part of a professional invitation. If your experience differs from ours, please mention it in the comments.
