Remedy Entertainment has confirmed the release date for Control Resonant with a brand-new trailer unveiled during the State of Play on June 2, 2026. Set for September 24, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, this sequel to Control, a game born from the Alan Wake universe, will feature Dylan Faden, Jesse Faden’s brother, as he dives back into the Bureau and its supernatural phenomena.
An installment officially announced in November 2022, Remedy revealed that they are working on a sequel to Control. As a reminder, this first game appeared unexpectedly in 2019, inviting players to step into the shoes of Jesse Faden, a young woman searching for her brother who was taken by the Federal Bureau of Control, a government agency investigating various paranormal phenomena. Her quest leads her to become the agency's director and to eradicate the Hiss, a kind of supernatural disease, using a range of powers she acquires throughout her journey—telekinesis being the most prominent.
