Gamers who own the Nintendo Switch have been waiting for it with great anticipation... Big N announced on February 19, 2024 that a new Nintendo Direct would be held in the coming days, on February 21 to be precise, for new game announcements. Join us at 3 p.m. to discover these new game announcements and presentations!
What can we expect? According to the Japanese manufacturer, a "Partner Showcase lasting around 25 minutes will focus on games published and developed by our partners in the first half of 2024", as the company explains on social networks. Given that Nintendo usually launches trailer after trailer at this type of conference, expect plenty of announcements!
As for games, although nothing has been announced, we can expect news of Princess Peach: Showtime, due for release next month. We're also hoping for news of Professor Layton and the New Steam World, which hasn't shown up for a while. And since we're dreamers, we'd love to see a remake of an old Zelda, or a new Animal Crossing game. On the other hand, there's little chance of seeing a new Pokémon presented at the event, a Pokemon Presents being scheduled for the following week (and presented at that time). Last but not least, we could perhaps have some news on the four Xbox games Microsoft has hinted at for release on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
