This new Hercule Poirot adventure follows on from The First Cases, released in 2021. However, you don't need to have played that first opus: The London case is a brand new story, with all-new characters.
In this investigation, you'll have to explore each location in search of clues, solve puzzles and riddles, question suspects and test their words, find links between information to unlock answers to your questions... Real detective work!

After seeing Kenneth Branagh's latest film, Mystery in Venice, are you dreaming of immersing yourself in the thrilling world of Hercule Poirot? Then this is the game for you!
We were able to test this adventure on Nintendo Switch. The London Case is a fun, easy-to-learn point-and-click game. The story is divided into different chapters to keep the suspense alive and the mystery going. Clue-finding aids remain subtle, to give us time to work out the solution on our own. Hercule Poirot is faithful to the character created by Agatha Christie, although his appearance may come as a surprise: his design is quite different from the image we usually have of the Belgian detective.
A few minor annoyances can spoil the gaming experience. The biggest drawback is the loading times between scenes, which can be very long. Similarly, this game is very chatty, and this can slow down the pace of your investigation. However, don't skip these conversations: they always contain clues that will help you solve the case. Finally, it's a shame that this game, released in 2023, doesn't have slightly more pleasant and well-developed graphics.
Nevertheless,The London Case remains a fun and entertaining game.
There's no need to dive into your novels to find the solution to this riddle: The London Case is an original story by Microids, revolving around Poirot's youth. But don't worry: the world of Agatha Christie is faithfully respected.
