Our review of the escape game Le Tombeau du Pharaon :

An adventure that the editorial team was able to try out over a weekend, in its spare time. And we rather liked it, even if we were a little disappointed. Not that the experience was bad, far from it, but we would have liked it to continue with an additional room, as we were so caught up in the game.

As for the decor, it's all there from the start: 30's-style tent, secret passages, trap-filled corridors... it all fits the universe. There's even sand from start to finish (be careful what you wear, it gets a bit dirty...) So, sure, we've seen something more immersive, but it does the job. As for the puzzles, they're relatively easy to solve, but not so obvious until you've figured out how they work, or how to fit this clue with that mechanism. It's challenging without being inaccessible.

We love the corridor with its booby-trapped slabs, where you have to play Indiana Jones, literally, or the sarcophagus, which holds a few surprises. The only downside is that some door mechanisms are difficult to open. You don't want to force them open to avoid breaking them, but you do have to use a bit of force to get them to open. Perhaps the opening mechanism should be redesigned... But this in no way detracts from the overall experience.

The bottom line is that we had a lot of fun in the Tomb of the Pharaoh. Note that the company offers a physical version of the photo taken at the end of the adventure, printed live, for 5 euros. It's up to you to decide whether you want this souvenir or not... Whatever the case, the experience will undoubtedly appeal to fans of films of the genre(Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, Uncharted... we won't bore you with the details). If the puzzles, treasures and atmosphere of this type of experience aren't your thing, you'll have to pass. If you're looking for an ultra-immersive setting (at least much more so than here) with a more "surgical" design, you'll also have to pass... this isn't for you.

Ready to break the curse?

This 60-minute adventure invites participants to solve riddles at the heart of Egypt's mysteries. Designed for groups of 4 to 8 players, the game features an intermediate difficulty level, making the experience accessible and stimulating for a variety of players. Whether you're a fan of ancient history, a fan of puzzle games or simply looking for a fun activity, Le Tombeau du Pharaon offers an immersive and exciting adventure. So, shall we book a session, folks?
