Slip into the skin of a gifted octopus, and embark on an adventure as crazy as it is funny, with Darwin's Paradox, a game signed by Konami and ZDT Studio. Scheduled for release on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC.

It's an escape game. It's a survival game. It's... a totally wacky creation from ZDT Studio and Konami, unveiled on February 13 at State of Play. Discover the trailer for Darwin's Paradox, an unexpected game that has already won our hearts. The game is due for release on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The trailer for Darwin's Paradox:

Darwin's Paradox synopsis:

" Embark on a grandiose adventure worthy of the best animated films with Darwin, an octopus as endearing as he is intelligent, plucked from the ocean and trapped in a huge, mysterious industrial complex. Thanks to his extraordinary intelligence and incredible abilities (swimming, camouflage, and many other fascinating skills), help him overcome the most formidable traps and dangers in this captivating game that combines platforming, adventure and reflection."

Darwin's Paradox is a platform game in which the player, transformed into an octopus, must use his special abilities to survive. To get back to the ocean, you'll have to be flexible and clever, and escape numerous dangers... Some phases require logic and strategy to progress.

This first teaser gives us the impression of being immersed in an animated film. The game seems to have come straight out of an adventure in the Madagascar saga, with its famous penguins, masters of stealthy escape. Darwin's Paradox looks like it's going to be a lot of fun, but not without its difficulties.

Konami's website speaks of a conspiracy that could change humanity: this new game could therefore have a deeper storyline than classic platformers. We can't wait to find out more...
