That’s exactly what Escape Lab, based in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement, offers with Le Manoir des Ombres, a terrifying virtual reality escape game sure to make you jump out of your skin!
"Behind these walls, a trio of brothers once conducted horrific experiments on their victims. Their tormented souls still wander, trapped between two worlds, seeking redemption… or revenge. The deeper you delve, the darker their secrets become. Every shadow hides a nightmare. Every door leads into the unknown... and each second draws you closer to a fate… worse than death. Regarding the experience itself, you're immersed with a VR headset strapped to your head, and much like an escape room, your goal is to solve various puzzles over the course of an hour. You’re navigating a 50m² space with complete freedom of movement, equipped with connected headsets and motion controllers for an engaging, interactive adventure.
The only difference from a typical escape game? Immersing yourself in an incredibly mysterious universe. Keep in mind that the difficulty level is rated 2 out of 5 (so not overly challenging), but some puzzles can be quite tricky, as explained by Escape Lab on their website.
